We rent a variety of canoes, kayaks, tubes and river rafts from May to November and have been proud to serve you since 1991! Our shuttles will transport everyone and all the provided equipment to various drop off locations.
We look forward to helping you with your paddling or tubing adventure along the scenic Grand River!!
We also have new kayaks for sale. If you are looking to purchase kayaks, please contact our main office and we will be happy to arrange a sales appointment with Brendan, one of our expert river guides.
We are now taking reservations for the 2022 season. Please complete the reservation request form, email us or call the office during business hours to book your Grand River adventure.
When you order a gift certificate and in the local KW area, we will safely hand deliver your present already wrapped with flare to spare for whatever occasion you are celebrating!

Due to COVID, all bookings will be pre-paid the night before. We will be observing strict distancing measures including all guests wearing self provided masks, and provided face shields will be worn in all shuttles. Guests will have their temperature taken upon arrival, answer a quick survey and will be asked to adhere to the instructions of CTG staff. Our priority is your safety and the safety of our staff. It will not be the same for awhile, but once you are on the river the true freedom we have all been craving will be yours!
Planning a group team building event? We can help with that! For almost 30 years we have been helping companies celebrate, reward and bond with their team, all the while showcasing the pastoral view that captured Homer Watson's heart. We can work with groups 2-400 without blinking! We have several catering options including having your own chef or picnic in our humble but quaint picnic area.
We provide the equipment and do the heavy lifting, you style your experience ...your way! Our winding river provides a beautiful backdrop for you to do you!

Canoeing The Grand is open for the 2022 season. We are taking bookings per hour by prepaid reservation only and we will be adhering to strict protocols. All guests must wear either n-95 or double masks and observe good social distance practices. We will have washrooms available, but we will not have garbage or recycling services until we move into the next phase of opening. We look forward to your booking!
